The location of this budget-friendly cottage is great, with easy access to Chester and Wales for exploring. It also offers a peaceful and quiet setting, perfect for a relaxing getaway. the cottage itself is cosy and comfortable, providing all the necessary amenities. the hosts were very welcoming and even left treats for our dog.
One small drawback was that the entrance to the cottage was a bit difficult to find in the dark. A reflector or light would have been helpful to make it easier to locate.

What a fantastic stay we had at this lovely cottage! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The property is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. We were delighted to find that the wifi was free and had a strong signal, allowing us to rest and disconnect from the outside world. The house had all the facilities we could ever need, and the family living next door was readily available to assist us if needed. The thoughtful welcome pack and the peaceful evenings spent outside on the swing by the log fire were truly the icing on the cake. We also appreciated the hospitality shown by Richard and Jayne, who took great care to ensure our needs were met. we highly recommend this cottage for a perfect break from everyday life.
While the attic bedroom was beautifully decorated, it was a bit tight on space, especially for taller individuals. A less chunky style of bed with bedside tables would have made it more comfortable.
