The location of this budget-friendly cottage is great, with easy access to Chester and Wales for exploring. It also offers a peaceful and quiet setting, perfect for a relaxing getaway. the cottage itself is cosy and comfortable, providing all the necessary amenities. the hosts were very welcoming and even left treats for our dog.

One small drawback was that the entrance to the cottage was a bit difficult to find in the dark. A reflector or light would have been helpful to make it easier to locate.

What a fantastic stay we had at this lovely cottage! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The property is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. We were delighted to find that the wifi was free and had a strong signal, allowing us to rest and disconnect from the outside world. The house had all the facilities we could ever need, and the family living next door was readily available to assist us if needed. The thoughtful welcome pack and the peaceful evenings spent outside on the swing by the log fire were truly the icing on the cake. We also appreciated the hospitality shown by Richard and Jayne, who took great care to ensure our needs were met. we highly recommend this cottage for a perfect break from everyday life.

While the attic bedroom was beautifully decorated, it was a bit tight on space, especially for taller individuals. A less chunky style of bed with bedside tables would have made it more comfortable.

I recently stayed at a charming cottage situated next to the owner's home, overlooking a beautiful large garden. The cottage was immaculate and decorated to a very high standard, making it feel like a homely retreat. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay special, allowing us to check in early and providing a generous welcome basket filled with goodies. The attention to detail was impressive, from the personalized sign wishing us luck at the races to the thoughtful provision of lager, wine, and essential groceries. I couldn't recommend this accommodation enough - it truly exceeded all expectations!

    Absolutely nothing!

The location of the cottage is convenient for touring the area and exploring North Wales. It is also close to amenities and dog-friendly places. the owners provide a generous welcome pack, including breakfast essentials and alcoholic drinks. the cottage is well-equipped and spotlessly clean, offering a comfortable stay. the large garden area allows dogs to roam freely, providing peace of mind for pet owners. Communication with the owners is excellent, and they even went the extra mile by shipping back forgotten items.

No noticeable negative aspects were mentioned in the reviews.
